Snow Lanterns in Higashi Kagura Town!

by Gen, Sub-prefectural Office of Hokkaido Government

My first impression is "What a tough work to make such a lot of ice & snow lanterns and to light the candles !"
Incredible cold wind flowed over the small flame in the snow. So many citizens of the town did the pro-bono work and made up the scenery like a dream.
My nose could not feel any smell in the cold wind but my eyesight was so clear and the candle lights left me an unforgettable image of flame art.
It was so beautiful that it may be too tough to see the field without being accompanied by somebody.

Candle lights in the cold cold cold winter in Higashi Kagura Town is to pray for the bumper crop in next autumn.
Would you take somebody to there?
